Biography

Could be a banner season for Glasper…Has been an outstanding defensive end for the Aggies over the previous three seasons…Named a preseason second-team All-MEAC selection in 2009…Made preseason All-MEAC in 2008 as well…Will be expected to be one of the Aggies leaders on defense this season…With Glasper’s presence, head coach Alonzo Lee calls the Aggies defensive line one of the strongest parts of the 2009 team…Gets off the ball well and is excellent against the run…Comes into camp as one of the Aggies No. 1 defensive ends for the third straight year…Continues to have outstanding workouts during the off-season…Dropped some weight during the off-season to become faster…Has played in 26 games over his career with 81 career tackles, 13 for loss and he has blocked an amazing four kicks…Also has four career fumble recoveries and nine career sacks, which is more than any other Aggie on the roster…JUNIOR (2008): Played in 12 games with 12 starts…Made a career-best 42 tackles and had 12 stops behind the line of scrimmage…Also recorded 3 ½ sacks…Registered a career-high eight tackles, two for loss, in a 14-8 win over Winston-Salem State on Sept. 6…His day also included blocking a Rams extra point…Had three solo tackles against Norfolk State on Sept. 13…Made seven tackles and recorded a sack against Florida A&M on Nov. 8…SOPHOMORE (2007): He played in 11 games with 10 starts…Came into the season as the leading returning tackler among Aggie defensive linemen…He finished the season with 33 stops with 19 of those tackles coming as solo tackles…He made 5 ½ of his tackles behind the line of scrimmage…He had five quarterback hurries, which led the team…He had five tackles against Norfolk State in a nationally televised game on ESPNU…During the game he made two stops at the line of scrimmage and two tackles behind the line…He also blocked a NSU extra point and pass at the line of scrimmage…He had four tackles against N.C. Central on Sept. 22…In the game, he had a half sack of Eagles quarterback Stafford Brown for a 10-yard loss…He also had a half sack of Brown in the fourth quarter for a 5-yard loss…FRESHMAN (2006): Played in three games with one start…Appeared to be headed to an excellent season with the Aggies… Recorded four tackles with three of them solo at Hampton on Sept. 16…Also recovered a fumble in the game…Went down with a knee injury against Division I Louisiana Lafayette on Sept. 23 and did not return the rest of the season.
