Enters his third season as a starter...Even though he is just a junior, the only Aggie on the 2010 roster who has started more games than Stanfield (20) is senior Enoch Cohen (21)...Brings strength and agility to the Aggies lineup...Head coach Alonzo Lee loves his tenacity and dedication...Lee hopes his type of intensity becomes contagious...Has played 22 games with 29 tackles, five tackles for loss and 3 ½ sacks.

2009 Season: Had another marvelous season as he heads closer to gaining conference recognition for his play...Proved to be an excellent run stopper...His intensity led to his fellow starters along the defensive line - all from Detroit - to adopt him as one of their own...Made 23 tackles on the season with 2 ½ sacks and four tackles for loss...Halted a Hampton drive on Sept. 19 by recovering a fumble at the A&T 13-yard line in the second quarter...His fumble recovery against N.C. Central on Oct. 3 led to a 32-yard field goal attempt for the Aggies...Made a big sack against Howard in the fourth quarter on Oct. 24...It forced the Bison into a 3^rd-and-long that eventually led to a punt. 

2008 Season: Played in 12 games with 10 starts...Made 16 tackles with one tackle going for a loss...Played a major role in the Aggies 14-8 win over Winston-Salem State on Sept. 8...WSSU had the ball 4th-and-goal from the Aggies 4-yard line...Stanfield not only sacked Rams quarterback Jarrett Dunston, he also recovered Dunston's fumble to give the Aggies a first down.

High School: Played four varsity seasons under head coach Mickey Crouch...Named to the all-conference team three years in a row...Was a four-year all-conference wrestler...Was a 3A state championship wrestler and finished fourth nationally.

Personal: Full name is Micah Dewayne Stanfield...He is the son of William and Monilyn Stanfield...He has two siblings, Thaddeus and Gregory...Was born on May 8, 1989...He is an engineering major...Says his pastor is the biggest influence in his life because he is dedicated to his purpose.
