2012 Season: Started all eight games he played in…Made 22 solo tackles and 18 assisted tackles for 40 total…Also had 1.5 tackles for loss, broke up two passes and had two interceptions…Did not play in three games – Howard (Oct. 13), Delaware State (Oct. 20) and Florida A&M (Nov. 3) – because of a leg injury…Made a career-high 12 tackles, including eight solo tackles in a loss at Delaware State on Oct. 20…Made three tackles and intercepted two passes in the Aggies’ 30-9 Homecoming win over Norfolk State.
2011 Season: Played in 11 games with eight starts…Made 41 solo and 28 assisted tackles for 69 total…Ranked fourth on the team in tackles…Martin also made four tackles behind the line of scrimmage…Ranked 23rd in the MEAC in tackles, and he was fifth among defensive backs in tackles with 6.3 per game…Was second on the team in passes defended with nine…Was tied for 13th in the MEAC in passes defended…Made a career-high 10 tackles and broke up two passes in a 42-24 win over Delaware State on Oct. 15…Matched his career high with 10 tackles and a career-high three tackles for loss at S.C. State on Nov. 12…Also had a fumble recovery and two pass break ups in the game…Made eight tackles and broke up two passes at Norfolk State on Oct. 29.
2010 Season: Played in 10 games without a start…Made six tackles mostly in special teams play…Made three tackles in a tough 22-19 overtime loss to Florida A&M on Nov. 6…Followed that performance with two tackles against S.C. State two weeks later.
High School: Made 30 solo and 29 assisted tackles for a total of 59 as a senior…..Martin also picked off two passes and broke up 14 others...For his efforts, he was named first-team All-District, first-team All-Region and first-team All-State.
