North Carolina A&T State University is committed to the principle of institutional control in operating its athletics program in a manner that is consistent with the letter and spirit of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA)Â and the University rules and regulations. The University's commitment to maintain control of the institution's athletics program is manifested in the following Office of Compliance Services (OCS) objectives:
- charge responsible administrators, faculty, and institutional staff with operational oversight;
- educate coaches, staff, student-athletes, prospective student-athletes, alumni, fans, and boosters involved with Aggie athletics, in their presumed responsibilities under the rules of membership;
- develop processes within the athletics department and the University at-large that provide guidance on how to maintain rules compliance; and
- discover and report any compliance violations that may occur.
The primary intent of the OCS is to assist our student-athletes, coaches, and staff by developing and maintaining a compliance program that will educate, monitor and provide interpretative guidance. The information and OCS links below provide further detail about areas of compliance.
