of roles for the Aggies before finding a home at the cornerback position in

corner during the August camp...The move proved beneficial for Webb and A&T
as he became a vital starter for the Aggies last season...Among the positions
Webb has played include safety, receiver, quarterback and corner...Has been able
to play all of those positions because he is one of the most athletic players
on the roster...He has a 34 ½ inch vertical, a 10-foot, 3-inch broad jump and he
runs the 40-yard dash in 4.52 seconds....Can bench 225 pounds 13 times...Has played
in 22 games with 13 starts, including two starts as the Aggies quarterback...
2011 Season: Played in 11 games
with 11 starts at the cornerback position...Made 28 tackles with eight passes
defended and one interception...Played opposite first-team All-MEAC corner Justin
Ferrell...Was third on the team in passes defended and ranked 16th in
the MEAC...Played a strong game against Morgan State on Oct. 1 as he broke up a
pass, blocked a Bears field goal and made three tackles in the Aggies 24-3 win...Intercepted
S.C. State quarterback Richard Cue and returned the pick 31 yards to give the
Aggies a 1st-and-10 at the A&T 46-yard line...Made four tackles,
all solo, and broke up a pass at Howard on Oct. 22.
2010
Season: Played in five games with one start...Threw for 228 yards, three
touchdowns and no interceptions on 18-for-34 passing...Opened the season as the
Aggies starting quarterback with his start against Winston-Salem State on Sept.
4...Had 48 yards passing on 4-for-8 passing...Did not return to the lineup until
Oct. 16 when he replaced an injured George Hines in the second half...He threw
for 149 yards and two touchdowns on 12-for-22 passing...In the game, led the
Aggies on a 9-play, 68-yard drive in the fourth quarter...During the drive, he
completed three passes including a 9-yard touchdown pass to Buster Cooper, and
he rushed for 16 yards on a 3rd-and-10.
2009
Season: Played
sparingly as a redshirt freshman...Played in six games with one start...Made two
tackles against Florida A&M on Nov. 7.
2008
Season: Webb
redshirted as a freshman...
High School: He played
four varsity seasons under head coach Jerome Tate...He was named the team's MVP on
offense...He also earned All-Area honors as a junior and senior...Played
baseball and basketball at Loachapoka...Graduated with a better
than 3.0 GPA.
