High School: Attended Deltona High and Trinity Christian Academy...Played varsity baseball for two seasons...Was named Defensive Player of the Year, and earned all-conference honors as a senior...Helped Trinity Christian Academy to the Class 2A State Championship title in 2012...Batted .370 as a junior for the Trinity Christian Eagles...Was ranked No. 123 in the state of Florida as a senior by MaxPreps.com...Competed in several Perfect Game tournaments.

Personal:  Full name is Jeovanny Tolentino...His parents are Brenda Almedina and Anthony Cortez...Has three siblings, Christopher, Kiara and Kyanna....Was born on Aug. 21, 1994 and majors in physical therapy...Looks forward to a career in professional baseball...His other interests include hanging out with family and friends, and playing video games...His favorite television show is "Prison Break" and his favorite food is arroz con pollo...Says he is proud of being the first in his family to go to college and to attend college on a scholarship...His goals for the season are to bat better than .300, and to have an on-base percentage of .380 or better, to steal 20 bases, and to help the Aggies win the MEAC Championship.
