Darrin Meaders looks forward to seeing plenty of playing
time in 2012, his first full season in an A&T uniform. He transferred from Chicago State after two
seasons, where he competed in 26 games.
He made 25 plate appearances for Chicago State, collecting a pair of
hits and two runs.

Meaders was named to the All-Conference Chicago Public School South list as a
senior in 2008...Spent three season competing in varsity baseball...Also played
football and bowling in high school.

name is Darrin Meaders II...He is the son of Darrin and Lisa Meaders...Was born on
May 30, 1990 and has three siblings, DarLisa, DarLa and DarLynn...Majors in
mechanical engineering and looks to pursue a career in either sports or
engineering after graduation...Is a member of the American Society of Mechanical
Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, and The Summit (which is an
on-campus Bible study group)...Spent the 2011 summer as an intern for Play for
Life International, a non-profit organization, and coaching a little league
baseball team...Is proud of maintaining a grade point average above a 3.0 as an
athlete and engineering major...Looks to helping his team win a MEAC Championship
title this season.
