Carmony joins the Aggies in 2013 after graduating with honors from Daytona State College…He looks to add to the A&T depth in the outfield in 2014 after sitting out in 2013 following Tommy John surgery…Named to 2012 Fall Dean’s List.

2013 Season: Did not play after undergoing Tommy John surgery.

2012 Season (Daytona State):  Competed in 34 games and hit .255 for Daytona State…Collected 27 hits, including three doubles and a triple, in 106 at-bats…Also totaled 21 runs and 21 RBI… Was named an Academic All-American at Daytona State College…Helped Daytona State earn NJCAA Academic Team of the Year by earning Academic All-American honors on a Falcons team that posted a 3.74 grade point average.

High School: Competed at the varsity level all four years and was named to the all-conference team as a senior at Plant City High School.

Personal: Full name is Micah Carmony…He is the son of Michael and Cheryl Carmony…Has three siblings, Lance, Leah and Magen… He was born on Feb. 17, 1992…His major is liberal studies with a pre-law concentration… …Plans on practicing law after graduation…His favorite books are the Hunger Games series, his favorite television show is “How I Met Your Mother” and his favorite food is steak… Says his proudest accomplishment is helping Daytona State College to win the national academic award for highest GPA in the nation.
