Biography

Came to N.C. A&T after Winston-Salem State went from a Division I to a Division II program … Has been an excellent addition to the Aggies sprints … Has come in and helped the Aggies continue their dominance of the MEAC conference both indoor and outdoor … Has improved tremendously under the tutelage of director of track and field programs Duane Ross … Has increased her explosiveness and her ability to get out of the blocks quicker … Has competed in 31 meets in her career including her time at WSSU … Has 29 top-5 finishes and five first-place finishes … Won CIAA gold once when at Winston-Salem State. 

2020 Outdoor Season: Season was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

2019-20 Indoor Season: Competed in five meets for the Aggies … Opened the season at the University of Kentucky where she finished fourth in the 60m at the Jim Green Invitational with a time of 7.47 on Jan. 11 … Placed third in the 60 and fourth in the 4x400 at the Hokie Invitational hosted by Virginia Tech, Jan. 24-25 … At the meet, ran the 60m in 7.38 and the teamed with the 4x4 team to run a 3:49.59 … Also ran the 200 at the meet … Posted two personal best at the Tyson Invitational hosted by the University of Arkansas, Feb. 14-15 … Ran a personal-best 7.36 in the 60m prelim to post the fourth fastest-time prelim time Tyson while also running a personal-best 24.05 in the 200m to finish fifth … Finished fifth in the 60m final with a time of 7.39 at Tyson … Helped the Aggies win their fourth straight MEAC indoor title, Feb. 27-29, in Landover, Md … Scored seven points for the Aggies by finishing third in the 60m with a time of 7.39 … Scored three more points for the Aggies as she finished seventh in the 200m in 24.89. 

2019 Outdoor Season: Competed in two meets during the outdoor season … Made her outdoor debut for the Aggies on March 21 at High Point University’s VertKlasse Meeting where she finished eighth in the 100m in 12.08. 

2018-19 Indoor Season (N.C. A&T): Competed in two meets in her first season as an Aggie … Made her Aggie debut on Jan. 11 where she finished third in the 200m at the Virginia Tech Invitational with a time of 24.67 … A week later at Virginia Tech, finished eighth in the 60m at the Hokie Invitational in 7.50. 

2018 Outdoor Season (Winston-Salem State): Competed in one meet where she finished fifth in the 4x400 relay at N.C. A&T’s Aggie Invitational on April 14 as they recorded a time of 3:58.63 at Irwin Belk Track. 

2017-18 Indoor Season (Winston-Salem State): Competed in six meets for the Rams in her second indoor season … Opened the season at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C., where she finished second in the 60m in 7.60 on Jan. 7 … Won the 60m at the Mondo HBCU Indoor Invitational on Jan. 15 in 7.61 seconds … Won the 60m at the Camel City Invitational on Feb. 3 by running a 7.46 at the JDL Fast Track … Had a superb CIAA Indoor championship meet … Ran a personal-best 7.44 to win the conference championship in the 60m … Ran a personal-best 24.67 to finish third in the conference in the 200m on Feb. 12 … Qualified for the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships and finished seventh in the nation in the 60m with a time of 7.54. 

 2017 Season (Winston-Salem State): Competed in nine meets as a freshman during the outdoor track and field season … Had a second-place finish in the 4x100 relay as she and her teammates combined to run a 46.46 at the Winthrop Adidas Invitational, March 23-25 … Placed second in the 100m at the Colonial Relays on April 1 by running an 11.95 … Had an outstanding CIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, April 21-22 as she finished second in the 100 and 4x100 while also placing sixth in the 200 … At the CIAAs, ran an 11.99 in the 100, a 46.39 in the 4x1 and 25.26 in the 200 … Her 4x1 team won the Wingate Invitational on May 5 with a time of 46.09 … Finished second at the Aggie Invitational hosted by N.C. A&T at Irwin Belk Track on May 14 by running an 11.78 in the 100 … At the same event, the Rams 4x1 team finished second in 45.82 … Qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 100 and 4x1 … She and her 4x100 teammates finished fifth in the nation by running a 45.49. 

2016-17 Indoor Season (Winston-Salem State): Competed in six meets as a freshman at Winston-Salem State University … In her first collegiate meet, she finished second in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:10.30 at the Art & Linda Maillet UNC Open on Jan. 14 … She and her 4x400 teammates finished fifth at the Liberty University Kick Off on Jan. 21 with a time of 4:02.25 … Had a fourth-place finish at the CIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 60m with a time of 7.72 to score six points for the Rams … Helped her 4x4 teammates win the UCS Invitational with time of 3:58.05 on Feb. 18.

High School: Competed at Green Hope High School in Cary, N.C., during her prep career … As a senior, qualified for the New Balance National Outdoor Track and Field Championships … Also qualified for the Powerade State Games where she finished third in the 100m (12.16) … Finished third at the N.C. High School Athletic Association Mideast 4A Regional in the 100m in 11.83 … As a senior during the indoor season, finished fourth in the state in the 55m in 7.20 … Ran a personal-best 7.17 in the 60 at the state championship 100m prelim.
