North Carolina A&T

Has been a huge part of North Carolina A&T’s success nationally … During his career at North Carolina A&T he came away with one national championship (outdoor 4x400), he qualified for NCAA indoor nationals twice and the NCAA Division I East Preliminary once … He has one first-team and second-team All-American honor to his credit .. He won one MEAC event conference title (outdoor 4x400) during his career … Played a key role for the Aggies as a 400-meter runner.
 
2022 Outdoor Season: Competed in five meets during the season … Won the 400m at N.C. State’s Raleigh Relays (46.49) on March 25 … Joined the 4x400 team of Randolph Ross Jr., Daniel Stokes and Akeem Lindo to finish second at the University of Florida’s Florida Relays (3:03.11) on April 2.
 
2022 Indoor Season: Competed in three meets during the season … Earned second-team All-American honors at the NCAA championships by finishing ninth nationally in the 4x400 along with Markevus Jackson, Daniel Stokes and Randolph Ross Jr. on March 12 in Birmingham, Ala. … Earned second-team All-Big South honors in the 4x400 (3:15.24) along with teammates Akeem Lindo, Reheem Hayles and Brandon Nya on Feb. 25 at the Big South indoor championships in Winston-Salem, N.C. … Placed second at Clemson’s Bob Pollock Invitational in the 4x400 (3:03.39) along with Stokes, Lindo and Ross Jr. on Jan. 29.
 
2021 Outdoor Season: Competed in six meets during the season … The six times Young competed on the Aggies 4x400 team during the indoor and outdoor seasons, the Aggies went undefeated … Qualified for the NCAA East Prelim in the 400m and advanced to the quarterfinals … Won the MEAC title in the 4x400 (3:05.97) along with Akeem Sirleaf, Javonte’ Harding and Daniel Stokes … Ran a personal-best 45.98 at the North Florida Invite on April 30 in the 400m to finish fourth … Won the 4x400 (3:00.23) along with Stokes, Ross Jr. and Trevor Stewart at the 93^rd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays … It was the fastest time in the nation during the season.
 
2021 Indoor Season: Competed in five meets during the season … The six times Young competed on the Aggies 4x400 team during the indoor and outdoor seasons, the Aggies went undefeated … Helped the 4x400 team of Randolph Ross Jr., Trevor Stewart and Daniel Stokes win the school’s second-ever national championship (3:03.16) in Fayetteville, Ark.

2020 Outdoor Season: The season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

2020 Indoor Season: Competed in six meets during the season … Helped the 4x400 team of Trevor Stewart, Akeem Sirleaf and Randolph Ross Jr. win the University of Arkansas’ Tyson Invitational on Feb. 15 (3:04.12) … Also won the 4x400 (3:11.87) with Ross Jr., Stewart and Sirleaf at Virginia Tech’s Hokie Invitational on Ja. 25 … Finished second in the 4x400 (3:04.48) with Ross Jr., Sirleaf and Stewart at the Texas Tech Invitational.
