2020 Outdoor Season: Season was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 Indoor Season: Competed in five meets as a sophomore … Opened the season by finishing second in the 4x400 at the Jim Green Invitational on Jan. 11 at the University of Kentucky as the team finished in 3:40.65 … Two weeks later, she finished second at the Hokie Invitational in the 200m in 24.21 on Jan. 25 at Virginia Tech … Ran a personal-best 23.88 in the 200m at the Tyson Invitational on Feb. 15 as she finished second … Helped the Aggies win the MEAC indoor championship for the fourth straight season as she and her 4x4 teammates won their event in 3:42.07.
2019 Outdoor Season: Competed in seven meets during her freshman season as an outdoor track and field athlete … Made her collegiate outdoor debut at High Point University’s HPU VertKasse Meeting on March 23 when she finished fourth in the 400mh in 1:02.15 … Placed fourth in the 100m and the 400mh at the Aggie Invitational hosted by N.C. A&T at Irwin Belk Track, April 12-13 … Ran the 100 in 11.82 and the 400mh in 1:02.37 … Helped the Aggies win the MEAC outdoor track and field championship by posting a personal-best 59.96 in the 400mh to finish third earning the Aggies seven points in the event … She and her 4x400 teammates also won their event by finishing in 3:35.59 to earn another 10 points … Qualified for the NCAA Division I East Preliminary Round in the 400mh and the 4x4 … Qualified for the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships in the 4x400.
2018-19 Indoor Season: Competed in six meets as a freshman … Made her collegiate debut at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C., where she competed in the 200m winning the race in 25.42 at the annual JDL College Kick-off Classic on Dec. 1 … Teamed with her 4x400 relay team to finish fourth at the Virginia Tech Invitational on Jan. 12 at Virginia Tech on Jan. 12 … Finished third in the 200m and fourth in the 60m at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational hosted by Liberty University, Feb. 8-9 … At the Darius Dixon Memorial, Florence ran a 24.65 in the 200 and a 7.69 in the 60 … Helped the Aggies win the 2019 MEAC indoor championship by competing in the distant medley relay, the 4x400 and the 200m … She helped the DMR and the 4x400 win the conference title while finishing eighth in the 200 in 25.01.
High School: Competed at McEachern High School in Georgia … As a senior outdoor track and field standout, won the 300mh in the state of Georgia (1A, private, 4A & 7A) with a personal-record time of 42.53 while also finishing fifth in the state in the 100m in 12.07 … Won the 7A sectional (regions 2, 3, 4 & 5) in the 300mh (43.33) while also finishing second in the 100 (12.00) … Also won the Region 3-Class 7A 300mh in 42.97 while also winning the 100 in 11.94 … Won the 300mh and the 100 Cobb County title as a senior in 43.74 and 12.43 respectively … As a junior outdoor athlete, participated in the USATF Georgia Association Junior Olympics Championships where she finished second in the 100 (12.31), second in the 200 (24.50) and fourth in the 300mh (44.54) … Finished second in the state in the 300mh and 100 with times of 45.53 and 11.87 respectively … Won the 7A sectional in the 300mh (45.56) and the 100 (12.11)…Also won the Region 3-Class 7A titles in the 300mh and 100 … Ran a personal-best 24.38 in the 200 at the USATF Georgia Association Prelim Area A Junior Olympic State Qualifier.
