out once every 51.8 at-bats...He was the second toughest batter to strikeout as a

percentage...He has a career .357 batting average, with 203 hits in 569 at-bats

2011 Season: Hit
.353 with 12 doubles, three triples, six home runs, 38 RBI and 54 runs scored
in his junior season...Started in all 55 of his appearances...Ended the season with
the third-best average on the team, and 10th best slugging
percentage in the MEAC...Tied for second in the MEAC with 54 runs scored, and
sixth in stolen bases with 15...Riley ranked sixth in the MEAC and second on the team in walks with 31...Riley
also had 15 stolen bases with 31 walks and just four strikeouts last
season...Posted a .958 fielding average...Went 4-for-5 with a double and two runs
on April 30 in the first game of a doubleheader at Delaware State...Had a
season-high four RBI on April 19 against USC Upstate, going 3-for-6 in that
contest with a triple and two runs scored...Had a season-high two stolen bases in
three games...Had a season-high six at-bats thrice...Posted a season-long 11-game

2010 Season: As a sophomore, Riley led the team with a
.373 batting average, and posted 14 doubles with eight home runs, 56 RBI and 58
runs in 57 games...Went 11-for-13 in stolen base attempts...Ranked fifth in the
MEAC for batting average, and first in the conference in hits...Tied for fourth
in the MEAC for RBI...Walked 24 times and struck out just 5 times all season....Had
a season-high 6 RBI on April 24 in the first game of a doubleheader against
Savannah State...Homered in back-to-back games on May 2 against Delaware and on
May 8 at Coppin State...Went 4-for-4 with a double, four RBI and two runs on
March 13 at N.C. Central, his most hits in a single game all season...Had a
season-high six at-bats on March 6 against New Jersey Institute of
Technology...Posted a season-long 18-game hitting streak from April 18 to May
20.
2009 Season: As a
freshman, Riley batted .338 with 12
doubles, three home runs, 21 RBI and 32 runs in 39 games...He went 6-for-9 in
stolen base attempts...He walked 13 times and struck out five times...Had two home
runs on April 19 against Savannah State...Ended the April 19 game with a
season-high five RBI...Ended the April 18-19 three-game series against Savannah
State with three home runs...Had a season-high three hits five times...Doubled in
three consecutive games from Feb. 28 to March 29...Posted a season-long 12-game
hitting streak from April 11 to April 26.
High School:
Riley was a member of the 2006 N.C. State Games...Competed in the 2006 and 2008
WWBA World Championships...He was named to the All-Conference team from
2006-2008, and was an N.C. All-State Team selection in 2006 and 2008...He was the
2008 Mid-State Conference Player of the Year, and was the Class 2A Player of
the Year in 2008.
