Colby Keene will be joining the Aggies for his freshman year in 2012...He should add depth at catcher and may get some starts along the way depending on matchups.

High School: Keene earned All-Conference honors his senior year, and was named a North Carolina Scholar...He was also a member of the National Honors Society...Competed in varsity baseball for three seasons.

Personal:  Full name is Colby Wayne Keene...He is the son of Chuck and Dianne Keene...Was born on May 3, 1993 and has one sibling, Caleb...Majors in civil engineering and looks to be a missionary in Honduras, Calif., in the future...He is involved in Mercy and Grace Ministries...Spent the 2011 summer on mission trips to Honduras, Calif. and Memphis, Tenn...Looks forward to a winning and successful season.
