Was a key member of the Aggies cross country program for four seasons … Helped the Aggies win their first Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) men’s cross country title in 36 years when they won the title in 2018 … Was also a key part of the Aggies four straight MEAC indoor titles and three straight MEAC outdoor titles … Displayed tremendous speed, strength and endurance during his career … Has competed in 43 events in his career … Has two All-MEAC honors, two MEAC gold medals and one MEAC silver medal in his career … Has 21 top-5 finishes in his career and has won three events in his career.
2020 Outdoor Season: Season was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019-20 Indoor Season: Competed in seven meets during his indoor senior season … Earned first-team and third-team All-MEAC honors at the MEAC indoor championships, Feb. 27-29, in Landover, Md., as helped the DMR team finish first (10:24.29) and third in the mile (4:19.41) … Scored an additional three points for the MEAC indoor champion Aggies by finishing eighth in the 800m (1:57.05) … Ran a personal-best 1:51.02 in the 800m at the Carolina Challenge hosted by the University of South Carolina, Jan. 31-Feb.1, to finish third … Earlier in the season at the University of South Carolina, finished third in the 800m in 1:51.21.
2019 Outdoor Season: Competed in five meets for the MEAC outdoor champion N.C. A&T Aggies … Finished third in the 800m at High Point University’s VertKlasse Meeting, March 22-23, with a time of 1:53.05.
2018-2019 Indoor Season: Competed in five meets during his junior season … Earned second-team All-MEAC honors at the MEAC indoor championships, Feb. 21-23, by helping the DMR team finish second in 10:14.70 as the Aggies won another MEAC championship … Ran a personal-best 4:19.18 in the mile at the Carolina Challenge hosted by the University of South Carolina, Jan. 31-Feb. 2, as he finished seventh … Placed third in the 800m at the Virginia Tech Invitational, Jan. 11-12, as he finished in 1:56.63 … Opened the season on Dec. 1 at the JDL College Kick-off Classic at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C., as he finished third in the 3000m (8:56.67).
2018 Outdoor Season: Competed in five races during the season … Ran a personal-best 10:18.14 in the 3000m steeplechase at the Gamecock Opener hosted by the University of South Carolina on April 7 to finish second … Had an excellent N.C. A&T Aggie Invitational, April 13-14, by finishing first in the 1500m (4:04.35), fifth in the 4x400 relay (3:24.99) and eighth in the 800 (1:56.02) … Ran a personal-best 3:58.48 in the 1500m at the MEAC outdoor championships, May 3-5, at N.C. A&T’s Irwin Belk Track as the Aggies won the conference title.
2017-18 Indoor Season: Competed in eight meets during the season … Earned first-team and third-team All-MEAC honors at the MEAC indoor championships, Feb. 15-17, as he scored 17 points to help the Aggies win another conference title … Won his first career MEAC title as he won the mile at 4:21.61, and he and his distant medley relay team finished third in 10:12.23 … Opened the season at the JDL College Kick-off Classic on Dec. 2 at the JDL Fast Track as he finished third in the mile at 4:21.73 … Helped his DMR team finish second at the Camel City Invitational, Feb. 2-3, as the team finished in 10:17.25.
2017 Outdoor Season: Competed in six meets as a freshman season as an outdoor runner … Opened his outdoor career at the Raleigh Relays at N.C. State where he helped the 4x800-meter relay team finish fourth in 7:37.36, March 24-25 … Won the 800m at the Johnson C. Smith University Invitational, April 7-8, as he crossed the finish line in 1:56.88.
2016-17 Indoor Season: Competed in seven meets as a freshman … Opened his career at the UNCG Early Bird Duals on Dec. 4 where he finished fourth in the 800m in 1:56.22 … Secured his first career victory as he helped the DMR team win at the Clemson Orange & Purple Indoor on Jan. 7 with a time of 10:50.58 … The following week, the DMR team won again at the Virginia Tech Invitational with a time of 10:31.10.
High School: Attended and participated in track and field at Vance High School … As a senior, qualified for the New Balance Outdoor Nationals hosted by N.C. A&T at Irwin Belk Track in the 800m … Finished third in the state of North Carolina Class 4A in the 800m (1:53.68) … Finished second in the 1600m (4:26.58) and third in the 800m (1:56.33) at the West Regional Class 4A … Won the MeCka conference championship in the 800m (1:58.79) and the 1600m (4:37.57) … As a senior during the indoor season, finished eighth in the state in the 1000m (2:38.63) and 18th in 1600m (4:34.96) … As a junior, won the conference title in the 1600m (4:34.16).
