A&T track and field is becoming a more well-balanced program by keeping their reputation for having great sprinters but also adding outstanding throwers, jumpers and distance runners … Faison comes in hoping to start a tradition of superb throwers in AggieLand … Faison should add to a good foundation of throwers the Aggies already have in Derrick Wheeler and Aaron Wilkerson.

High School: Participated in track and field at Smithfield-Selma High School … Also ran for the Track Xplosion Club … Finished third in the shot put at the 2018 USATF Region 16 Junior Olympic Championships with a throw of 49-feet, 5 ¾-inches … Finished second in the discus at the USATF Region 16 with a toss of 162-feet, 2 ¾-inches … Won the discus event at the Russell E. Blunt East Coast Invitational with a personal-record 168-feet, ¼-inch throw at the Blunt Invite.
