High School: He played high school football at Scotland County in Laurinburg, N.C., under head coach Richard Bailey ... Finished with 53 tackles (49 unassisted), 14 tackles for loss, nine sacks, and recovered two fumbles as a senior … Led Scotland to a 14-1 mark and an appearance in the Class 4-A state championship game … Played in the East-West All-Star Game.
