2022 Season: Played in 10 games with five starts … Made 22 tackles (14 unassisted), 6.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, two quarterback hurries and he forced a fumble … Made four tackles, all unassisted, with two tackles for loss and one sack in the Aggies come-from-behind win over Campbell on Oct. 29 at Homecoming … Made four tackles (one unassisted), one tackle for loss and a half sack in the Aggies season opener against archrival NCCU at the Duke’s Mayo Classic at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
2021 Season:Â He started all 11 games he played ... Proved to be one of the Aggies top freshmen ... Made 27 tackles (nine unassisted), 7 1/2 tackles for loss and a half sack ... Also had one interception, two pass breakups and three quarterback hurries ... Ranked sixth in the Big South among defensive linemen in tackles per game (2.5) ... Made six tackles and one tackle for loss at Duke on Sept. 10 ... Made three tackles, 1 1/2 tackles for loss and one pass breakup at Hampton on Oct. 30 ... Made four tackles in the Aggies 27-17 at S.C. State on Nov. 13.Â
High School:Â He played high school football at South Granville in Creedmoor, N.C., under head coach Mike Hobgood ... Helped the Vikings to tons of success during his time there ... The Vikings won the conference three of the four years Daniel attended, going 26-1 in conference play ... Made 263 career tackles (115 unassisted), 69 1/2 tackles for loss, 34 sacks, nine pass breakups, forced seven fumbles and recovered four fumbles ... As a junior, made 109 tackles, 34 1/2 tackles for loss, seven sacks, forced two fumbles and recovered two more.Â
