2019 Season: Played in 12 games with 12 starts … Made 35 tackles (30 unassisted) with six pass deflections, one blocked and one interception … Secured one of the most critical interceptions during the season when he intercepted S.C. State quarterback Corey Fields in the fourth quarter to secure the Aggies 22-20 win over the Bulldogs on Nov. 2 in Orangeburg, S.C. … Made five unassisted tackles and broke up a pass in the Aggies 27-21 win over Charleston Southern on Sept. 14 … Also made five unassisted tackles and broke up a pass in the Aggies 64-44 Celebration Bowl win over Alcorn State at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Dec. 21, 2019.
2018 Season: Played in 12 games with four starts … Started the Aggies final four games of the season in place of an injured Mac McCain … Made 32 tackles (29 unassisted) and broke up seven passes … Received his first career start during the Greatest Homecoming On Earth against Norfolk State on Nov. 3 … Responded with four unassisted tackles and pass breakup in the Aggies 37-20 win over the Spartans … Followed that performance with eight unassisted tackles and a pass breakup in the Aggies 28-12 win at Savannah State … Helped the Aggies win the 2019 Celebration Bowl with five unassisted tackles and pass breakup in the Aggies 24-22 win over Alcorn State at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
