2021 Season: He played in 11 games with 10 starts ... Had a team-leading 84 tackles (38 unassisted), 12 tackles for loss and five sacks ... Also blocked four kicks, intercepted one pass and had one pass breakup ... Led the nation in blocked kicks ... Ranked seventh in the Big South in sacks per game (0.45) and tackles for loss per game (1.1), and ranked sixth in total tackles ... Earned second-team All-Big South accolades during his first year playing in the league ... Recorded double-digit tackles four times during the season ... Ranked second in the conference in tackles per game (5.0) among linebackers ... Had breakout games against North Alabama (Oct. 9) and Kennesaw State (Oct. 16) ... Posted 12 tackles and one tackle for loss in the Aggies 38-34 win over the Lions before racking up 16 tackles against the Owls in a 14-0 loss ... Had an incredible showing against Charleston Southern on Nov. 6 when he recorded 11 tackles, 3 1/2 tackles for loss and three sacks in the Aggies 21-18 road win ... Added another 10 tackles (seven unassisted) in the Aggies 27-17 win at S.C. State on Nov. 13. 

2020 Season: The COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancelation of the season. 

2019 Season: Played in 10 games with three starts for the Aggies … Made 62 tackles (38 unassisted), 12 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, two interceptions, one pass breakup and three pass defenses … Finished the season tied for the team lead in tackles for loss and was third on the team in tackles… Ranked 14th in the conference in tackles per game (6.2), 13th in sacks per game (0.45) and seventh in tackles for loss per game (1.20) … Nationally, he ranked 49th in FCS play in tackles for loss per game … At season’s end, earned second-team All-MEAC honors and HERO Sports first-team freshman All-America … Was also named Celebration Bowl Defensive MVP after making six tackles (three unassisted) and picking off one pass in the Aggies 64-44 win over Alcorn State at Atlanta’s Mercedes Benz Stadium on Dec. 21 … Had a breakout game in the Aggies 64-6 win over Howard University when he made 15 tackles (10 unassisted), six tackles for loss and three sacks on Oct. 26 … Roberts earned MEAC rookie of the week and defensive player of the week honors after the Howard win.

High School: Played high school football at powerhouse Mallard Creek … Led Mallard Creek to the state title as a junior, starting every playoff game for the Mavericks … Led the Mavericks in tackles and interceptions as a senior, earning first-team all-conference honors … Also made the Charlotte Observer’s all-area team … Earned an invitation to play in the Shrine Bowl as a senior, where the top prep players from North Carolina play the top prep players from South Carolina.
