An outstanding defensive player who had his season cut short in 2017 and ‘18 because of injuries … Did not play the entire 2019 season because of injury … Will try to rebound from the setbacks to earn playing time at strongside linebacker … Could also be a special player for the Aggies on special teams …  Led the Aggies defense in tackles with 11 during the 2017 Blue & Gold Spring Game in April … Runs the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds with a bench press max of 330 pounds … Can bench press 225 pounds 15 times.
 
2019 Season: He did not play during the season because of injury.
 
2018 Season: Played in two games without a start … Made two tackles to open the season against No. 6 Jacksonville State as the Aggies defeated the Gamecocks 20-17. 
 
2017 Season: Played in five games without a start … Made nine tackles (seven unassisted) and broke up one pass … Had four tackles (two unassisted) in the Aggies blowout win over Mars Hill on Sept. 9.
 
2016 Season: He took a redshirt his true freshman season.

High School: Played a major role in Grand Street Campus’ 2015 PSAL championship … Grand Street went 12-0 Philip’s senior season … Made 12 tackles against Midwood in the title game … As a senior, he had 43 tackles (21 unassisted) and three interceptions … Also had a pick-6 during his senior season.
