Has the talent to be a major contributor for N.C. A&T at the running back … Will come into the 2021 season looking to be the No. 2 running back behind senior Jah-Maine Martin … Had an outstanding spring for the Aggies in 2019 where he worked his way to earn multiple reps along with Unique Johnson and Kashon Baker …Did see action for the first time in his career during the 2019 season ..  Did not have a spring practice in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic … Has excellent speed and big-play ability.

2019 Season: Played in six games without a start … Rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries … Also contributed on special teams for the Aggies … Scored his first career touchdown on Oct. 26 against Howard as he broke free for a 20-yard run in the Aggies 64-6 win over the Bison … During the same game, he rushed for a career-high 52 yards on six carries serving as the Aggies second-leading rusher in the contest … Also had a career-best 23-yard run in the game.
 
High School: Played at North Davidson High School where he was named the 2017 All-Davidson County Offensive Player of the Year … Rushed for 2,663 yards and had 38 touchdowns in helping the Knights reach the 2-AA state semifinals … As a senior, he also caught 24 passes for 309 yards and four touchdowns …  Was selected to play in the East-West All-Star following his senior season … As a junior, Boyce rushed for 1,589 yards and 15 touchdowns to earn All-County honors.
