Biography

Prefers to be called Tre … Moved from linebacker to the defensive line during the 2018 season … Should now step in and replace 2019 NFL draft pick Darryl Johnson, Jr., who was the 2018 MEAC Defensive Player of the Year … Has the size, speed and tenaciousness to be an excellent pass rusher … Also brings power to the position and he is a veteran in coach Sam Washington’s system … Played his first season as an Aggie in 2016 … Has assisted on special teams throughout his career … Has played in 34 games with one start … Has been a big contributor to the Aggies have one of the best defenses in FCS football … In his career, he has made 28 tackles (15 unassisted), 2.5 tackles for loss and has one pass breakup …  Can bench press 225 pounds 12 times and can also squat 540 pounds.

2018 Season: Played in 12 games with one start … Made eight tackles (four unassisted), 1.0 tackles for loss and three quarterback hurries … Made two unassisted tackles at Delaware State on Oct. 6 in the Aggies 34-6 win.

2017 Season: Played in 11 games without a start … Made nine tackles (six unassisted), one tackle for loss, one sack and one pass breakup … Made four of his tackles on special teams … Made a career-high five tackles (three unassisted) in the Aggies blowout win over Mars Hill.

2016 Season: Played in 11 games without a start … Made 11 tackles (five unassisted) and assisted on a tackle for loss … Made five tackles (one unassisted) in the Aggies NCAA FCS playoff game at Richmond University on Nov. 26 … Had two unassisted tackles in the Aggies Homecoming win over Florida A&M on Oct. 29.

High School: On Dec. 19, played in the Shrine Bowl, a game where the best seniors in South Carolina play against the best seniors in North Carolina … During his senior season, made 129 tackles, caused three fumbles, recovered two and deflected four passes … Named second-team all-state by USA Today … Was named to the Post and Courier’s All-Lowcountry first team as a linebacker … As a track and field athlete, finished second at the Class 3-A state meet in the shot put with a throw of 51-feet, 11-inches.
