Biography

Fills a pressing need the Aggies have in the defensive backfield … He comes to Aggieland after being a Division I Class 5-A finalist for Mr. Football in Tennessee … Also entertained offers from Southern Illinois, Western Illinois, Georgia State, East Tennessee State and Samford … An outstanding athlete who also played quarterback in high school … Played in the secondary and at linebacker during the 2022 season.

2022 Season: Played in eight games with two starts … Made seven tackles with a half tackle for loss … Made three tackles in a 49-24 win over Norfolk State on Nov. 5 … The week earlier at the Greatest Homecoming on Earth on Oct. 29, he made three tackles.

2021 Season: Played in 11 games without one start ... Made 10 tackles (eight unassisted) with one tackle for loss, one interception and two pass breakups ... Had his most impactful game on Oct. 9 against North Alabama ... He overcame three pass interference calls to make the game-clinching interception in a 38-34 win at Truist Stadium ... He also had three solo tackles in the game ... Had two solo tackles and broke up a pass in a 37-14 win over N.C. Central at Truist Stadium on Sept. 25. 

2020 Season: The COVID-19 pandemic led to the cancellation of the season. 

2019 Season: He took a redshirt season as a true freshman. 

High School: Played high school football at Oak Ridge … Recorded nine interceptions and returned four for touchdowns as a senior … Threw for more than 1,000 yards and rushed for more than 700 as a senior … Also threw for 15 touchdowns and ran for 14 more.
