Biography

Should add some depth for the Aggies at the left guard position … After sitting out the 2021 season, Cairns made contributions for the Aggies on special teams as a reserve along the Aggies O-Line … Signed with the Aggies during their 2020 Signing Day … Looks to develop under offensive line coach Ron Mattes who has coached numerous all-conference standouts.

2022 Season: Played in seven games without a start … Played 57 snaps for the Aggies, mostly at the right guard position … Graded out at 73 percent for the season … Had 38 positive plays on the season and did not commit a penalty … Also posted two pancake blocks.

2021 Season: He did not play during the season and used a redshirt season.

2020 Season: He did not play because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

High School: He played high school football at Cary (N.C.) under head coach Jason Wilkes.
