GREENSBORO – Senior Ekaterina Prokhorova has set the standard for the North Carolina A&T women's golf program.

In a record-breaking 2025-26 season, Prokhorova added one more milestone to her list of accomplishments. On Friday, the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) named her first-team all-conference. Prokhorova became the first player in program history to earn all-conference honors. The program started in 2016. Prokhorova is the perfect player to hold the distinction, considering the season she put together.

She played in nine tournaments during the season. She won the Bridgestone Invitational, the SAS Invitational, and the Arcis Golf HBCU Classic. She finished in the top five in seven straight tournaments, including three first-place finishes, two second-place finishes, and two fourth-place finishes. Additionally, she won three Women's CAA Golfer of the Week awards during the season.

In 27 rounds played, she totaled 1,941 strokes for an average score of 71.9, a program record for best scoring average. Prokhorova shot under par in a round eight times during the season. She broke the program 54-hole course record by shooting 202 at the Bridgestone Invitational in September. Prokhorova won the Bridgestone by 18 strokes—a program record for margin of victory. She tied the program record at Bridgestone for the lowest round with a 67.

Prokhorova also broke the 36-hole program record for lowest score with a 135. In addition, she broke the program record for most birdies in a round (7) and most birdies in a tournament (18).
