SOUTHPORT, NC – North Carolina A&T rose to sixth place at the 2026 Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Women's Golf Championship, which concluded Sunday.

The three-round, three-day CAA tournament took place at the par-72, 6,022-yard The Clubs at St. James golf course. Here, the Aggies compiled a 101-over 323-321-321—965, ultimately finishing behind 2026 CAA champion Charleston.

Meanwhile, the Cougars overcame a two-stroke deficit to UNC Wilmington heading into Sunday's action. They clinched the title with a 22-over 294-291-301—886, while UNCW finished as the runner-up by posting a 24-over 292-291-305—888. Campbell rounded out the top three, finishing at 38-over 295-295-312—902.

On the individual leaderboard, A&T seniors Ekaterina Prokhorova and Tori Mouton remained neck-and-neck most of the tournament. By the final round, both had improved their standings by two spots, each tying for 16th after tying for 18th in round two. Prokhorova posted a 15-over 77-78-76—231, closely matched by Mouton's 15-over 74-81-76—231.

UNCW's Victoria Levy is the 2026 CAA medalist, winning the tournament with an even par 69-73-74—216. She finished one stroke ahead of her teammate Minouche Roojimans, who shot a 1-over 217. Charleston's Emile von Finckenstein placed third (219), and Campbell's Jade Potter (221) and Charleston's Carys Fennessy ended in a fourth-place tie.

Prokhorova recently saw her streak of finishing in the top five of tournaments end at seven straight. On Sunday, she opened her round on the par-4, 362-yard 10th with a par putt. She bogeyed two of her next three holes, but in between those bogeys, she carded a birdie on the par-5, 510-yard 12th. A streak of three straight pars followed before she carded another birdie. This one came on the par-5, 457-yard 17th to move to even par for the round.

She moved back to 1-over after a bogey on 18 before making the turn and bogeying No. 1. She had three more bogeys and four pars on the front nine but did come through with a birdie on the par-4, 367-yard fifth to shoot 39 on the course's first nine holes. Mouton also started her third round on the 10th.

Mouton's round began with a successful par putt on the 10th, starting a streak of four straight pars before a bogey on No. 14. Following that setback, she closed the back nine with four consecutive pars, making the turn at 1-over. Her par streak continued with pars on holes one and two, extending to six straight. For the second straight day, she birdied the par-5, 498-yard third to get back to even par. After three further pars, her round ended less favorably, as her final three holes featured a double bogey and two bogeys.

In addition, senior Ana Rodriguez, junior Sofia Fernando, and junior Meeya Marquez also competed for the Aggies. Rodriguez finished 33rd with a 33-over 87-76-86—249. Fernando placed 37th with a 40-over 85-86-85—256, and Marquez placed 41st with a 49-over 90-91-84—265.
