The Aggies maintained their fifth-place status by shooting a 46-over 334 to bring their two-round, 36-hole total to 68-over 640. A&T is seven shots behind fourth-place Texas A&M-Kingsville, who shot has a two-round 61-over 663.

For the second straight day, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi leads the tournament. After shooting a 1-over 283 on Monday, the Islanders shot 17-over 306 for a two-round total of 18-over 589. Delaware State is 20 shots off the lead with a 37-over 609. The Howard Bison follow the Hornets in third place with a 39-over 611.

Freshman Victoria Stutts made a significant leap up the leaderboard, going up six spaces to move into a three-place tie for 13th. Stutts shot a second-round 6-over 78, totaling a two-round 11-over 154. Corpus Christi has a trio atop the leaderboard led by Lucia Ramirez, who went from second place to first by shooting a second-round 1-over 73 to total a two-round even-par 143.

Her teammate Lucie Charbonnier was removed from her No. 1 spot after Tuesday's play after shooting a 6-over 78. She is two shots off the lead with a 2-over 145. Stutts began the day steadily. She posted six straight pars to start her round before carding a bogey on the par-4 seventh. She corrected the bogey on the par-4, 345-yard ninth with a birdie to move back to even par. But six bogeys on the back nine were not offset by birdies or eagles as she ended her back nine at 6-over.

She was 5-over after the first four holes but got back on track by parring the final five holes on the front nine. However, she did post six straight bogeys on the back nine before securing her first and only birdie on the day, a two on the par-3 160-yard 16th.

Gelpi finished the day with a 10-over 82. For the tournament, she is 17-over 160. Teammates Kiaira Porter and Jayla Rogers are in a four-way tie for 27th after the second round.
