He is also the Aggies' leading scorer at 10.6 points per game shooting 43 percent from the field and a career-best 70 percent from the free throw line. Head coach Will Jones is in his first full season after serving in an interim capacity part of last year and has an overall record of 17-13 (.567). He is 2-0 against the Bulldogs.

BULLDOGS OVERVIEW: The Bulldogs have yet to win a game this season, losing most recently to Furman, 118-52, on Dec. 21. Their two home losses have come against Appalachian State and Jacksonville. S.C. State was projected to finish fifth in the MEAC southern division but did not have any players receive preseason all-conference honors. Sophomore guard Rahsaan Edwards leads the team in scoring at 9.3 points per game. As a team, the Bulldogs average just 29.8 rebounds per game while allowing their opponents to average 42.4. Their leading rebounder is true freshman forward Latavian Lawrence, who hauls in 4.1 boards per game. They also shoot 35.2 percent from the field collectively while their opponents shoot 49.6 percent.
