• The Aggies have six HBCUs on their non-conference schedule.
• There are some reasonable driving destinations for Aggie fans when the team is on the road. They play at ECU, SCSU, Furman, and Charlotte.
• James Madison should be an intriguing home matchup. The Dukes went 18-15 last season and 9-9 in the Sun Belt. It will be an excellent test for A&T before conference season.

GREENSBORO – The North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University men's basketball schedule is now complete, with the Aggies' conference slate finalized over the summer; A&T's first game is set for Tuesday, Nov. 3 against Division III Warren Wilson College at 7 p.m. inside Corbett Sports Center.

It begins a 31-game schedule for the Aggies, which includes some old friends from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and some road opponents within a reasonable driving distance from A&T's campus, allowing Aggie fans to see their men's basketball team in person.

There will be some distance between Greensboro, NC, and the Aggies' second opponent, the Ohio University Bobcats. The two teams are set to face each other on Nov. 7 at the Convocation Center in Athens, Ohio. The Aggies have played Ohio four times previously and lost all four matchups. The last time the two teams played was on Nov. 26, 2020. The Bobcats won 84-72 in Athens, Ohio.  

East Carolina University follows on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Minges Coliseum in Greenville, NC. The Pirates and A&T have met nine times previously, with A&T winning one of those contests. The two teams last played on Nov. 29, 2024, when ECU came away with a 93-69 win at Minges Coliseum.

On Dec. 12, the Aggies will travel to Furman University to face the Paladins in Greenville, SC. It will be the first meeting between the two teams. The Aggies will close out their non-conference schedule when they face the Charlotte 49ers on Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Halton Arena in Charlotte, NC. The 49ers defeated the Aggies 74-57 last season at Halton.

The Aggies will also face some HBCUs, starting with Division III Cheyney University of Pennsylvania on Nov. 14 at Corbett. Cheyney is the oldest HBCU in the country, while A&T is the largest in the US. The two teams played on Nov. 4, 2024, with the Aggies winning 107-55 at Corbett. Four days later, former MEAC foe Morgan State comes to Corbett for a 7 p.m. game.

The Aggies went to Baltimore two years ago and defeated the Bears 86-83. A&T then goes to Orangeburg, SC, to face another MEAC school in the S.C. State Bulldogs on Monday, Nov. 23, at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. The Aggies have won the last seven matchups. Their last loss to the Bulldogs came Feb. 10, 2018, a 90-85 loss in Orangeburg.

Delaware State continues the run of MEAC opponents as the Aggies welcome the Hornets to Corbett on Saturday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. A&T has won the last seven contests, but the teams have not played since Jan. 27, 2020, inside Corbett. A&T's other MEAC opponents are on the road, starting with a Dec. 5 contest at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. The Aggies will also face the Howard University Bison on Thursday, Dec. 17, at Burr Gymnasium in Washington, DC.

The Aggies' other two home games during the non-conference season are against Washington Adventist and James Madison on Tuesday, Dec. 1, and Wednesday, Dec. 9.
