2019-20 Season: Played in 31 games with 14 starts… Averaged 7.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game… Was second on the team in blocks with 21… Shot 43 percent from the field, 27 percent from 3-point range and 69 percent from the free throw line… Scored in double-figures eight times including a career-high 17 points at Bradley on Dec. 7… Notched his lone double-double of the season at Bethune-Cookman on Feb. 8 with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
 
2018-19 Season: Played in 31 games with one start … Averaged 3.8 points and 1.8 rebounds … Shot 53.8 percent from the floor, 26.3 percent from 3-point range and 68.3 percent from the free throw line … Scored in double figures three times as a freshman … Posted nine points and had 10 rebounds in a win over Delaware State on Feb. 9 … Scored 10 points three times during the season including 10 points in a win at Delaware State on Jan. 12. 
 
High School: Played his high school basketball at St. Anthony’s under Sal Lagano … Was named second-team All-Long Island … Helped St. Anthony’s win a Catholic League title and was considered a top-25 player in the area … Averaged 14.3 points and the Long Island All-Star Game. 
 
Personal: Full name is Tyrone Lyons, Jr. … He is the son of Kenyatta Lyons and Tyrone Lyons, Sr … Was born on September 22, 2000 … Majors in psychology …  Wants to play basketball professionally … His other interests outside of basketball are art and music … Chose A&T because he fell in love with the tradition at the school and the work ethic of the team … Favorite movie is Above The Rim and his favorite food is shrimp alfredo.
