AGGIES OVERVIEW: Â North Carolina A&T women's basketball play their final home game tonight as the 2020 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Women's Basketball Championship Tournament approaches.
As the Aggies prepare to face the Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) Hawks, the seeding for next month's tournament in Norfolk, Va., is still up in the air.
The Aggies come into tonight's game tied for third in the MEAC standings with Morgan State. They do not have an opportunity to capture the No. 1 seed after losing to Bethune-Cookman (12-1) twice this season, but they trail Norfolk State (10-2) by 1 ½ games. Meanwhile, the Delaware State Hornets trail the Aggies in the standings by a half game.

In the previous outing earlier this year in Princess Anne, Md., the Aggies didn't have any trouble with UMES. N.C. A&T eased to a 67-31 win. Five players scored in double figures led by Winters with 15 points
MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE HAWKS: Maryland Eastern Shore has lost their last four games, including a 78-70 loss at North Carolina Central last Saturday. The Hawks are led by Brooklyn Bailey with 9.3 points per game and Amanda Carney with 9.2 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game. Mya Thomas led the team with seven points followed by Kenetria Redfern with five points and four rebounds.
The Series: The Aggies hold a 43-25 record over the Hawks including an 21-9 record in Greensboro and have won the last five meetings.
Rankings: The Aggies lead the MEAC and rank fifth in turnovers forced (22.44). The team ranks second in the MEAC and sixth in the nation in 3-point field goal defense (25.4). N.C. A&T leads the MEAC and ranks ninth in the country in field goal percentage defense (34.1).
 The team also leads the MEAC and ranks 57
th in rebounding margin (plus-5.1). They are second in the conference in rebounds per game (42.64), which ranks 18
th in the country. The Aggies also rank second in the conference and 57
th in the nation in total rebounds (1,066). N.C. A&T ranks second in the MEAC and are 37
th in the nation in blocked shots per game (4.6). They are second in the conference in blocked shots (114) and 49
th in the country.
N.C. A&T leads the conference and are 28
th in the country in scoring defense (56.8). The team ranks second in the MEAC and 53
rd in the country in scoring margin (plus-9.2).
Career Watch: McCray recorded a game-high 16 points against Howard to reach the 1,000-point milestone. McCray has 1,002 career points and ranks 14
th in school history in scoring.
Lessears has 821 career rebounds to place fourth in school history and needs eight rebounds to move into third past Tia Richardson (2000-04). Hill recorded six rebounds against Howard to give her 564 career rebounds to move into 11
th place and needs 13 rebounds to move into the top-10.
Lessears has 111 blocks and needs five blocks to move into fourth place past Lamona Smalley. Hill has 101 blocks and is sixth all-time.
