GREENSBORO – Fifth-year center
Chaniya Clark added to the collection of awards she has earned at North Carolina A&T State University. BoxToRow, one of the leading publications covering HBCU sports, named Clark an HBCU women's basketball All-American.
Clark joins Chanin Scott, Jazmin Harris,
Maleia Bracone, and
Jordyn Dorsey as HBCU All-Americans under head coach
Tarrell Robinson, who just completed his 14th season at A&T.
Clark averaged 12.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game. She shot 46 percent from the floor, 26.8 percent from 3-point range, and 76.9 percent from the free throw line. She led the Aggies in scoring, rebounding, blocking shots, field goal percentage, and free throw percentage. In the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), Clark ranked third in rebounding, third in blocked shots, third in field goal percentage, fourth in total blocked shots, and sixth in free throw percentage.
Over 28 games in the 2025-26 season, Clark scored in double figures 18 times, recorded five double-doubles to finish with 25 for her career, and earned both first-team All-CAA and all-defensive team honors. She scored 20 or more points six times, highlighted by a career-high 26 points in a win at Monmouth on February 27.
Throughout the season, she also kept her reputation intact as a clutch player. It was her incredible fall-away 3-point shot as the clock ticked close to zero that helped the Aggies take Northeastern into overtime on February 20. In the same game, she hit the game-winning three to secure A&T's 89-86 triple overtime win over the Huskies.
In 113 career games, Clark scored 1,182 points, grabbed 806 rebounds, and blocked 146 shots. She is 13th all-time in scoring, fifth all-time in rebounding, and third all-time in blocked shots.
