SPARTANS OVERVIEW: The Spartans are riding a three-game winning streak and coming off a 71-64 win over Elon. They have played two games against MEAC teams so far this season – an 86-80 loss at Coppin State on Dec. 10 and a 64-47 win vs. Norfolk State on Dec. 13. UNCG is projected to finish first in the Southern Conference (SoCon) in the coaches poll and is projected second in the media poll. Senior guard Isaiah Miller was voted preseason player of the year and made the preseason all-conference team. He is averaging a team-high 19.7 points per game and is the only Spartan averaging double-figures. Head coach Wes Miller is in his 10th season at the program's helm and has an overall record of 168-129 (.566). He is 3-3 against the Aggies during his tenure.
