PRIDE OVERVIEW: The Pride is coming off an 87-47 loss at the hands of Appalachian State last night in Boone. Greensboro finished tied for fifth in the east division of the USA South Conference last season and lost senior forward and USA South third-team member Michael Phifer, who averaged a team-high 15.5 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. Junior guard Greyson Collins has assumed the role this year, averaging a team-high 16.4 points per game. The Pride are allowing their opponents to score 85.0 points per game and only scoring 64.4 points themselves, a minus-20.6 differential. Second-year head coach Jim Cantamessa has an overall record of 13-17. He served as the associate head coach from Jan. 2015 to May 2019 for Greensboro and is 0-3 against the Aggies in that time.
