Aggies Overview:  North Carolina A&T women's basketball defeated VCU 69-58 the last time out for the second consecutive win.  The Aggies host Florida A&M for their Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) opener.  Junior guard Deja Winters ranks third in the conference in scoring, while senior guard C'coriea Foy ranks 16th, senior center Alexus Lessears ranks 21st and senior guard Cinia McCray ranks 22nd with 9.4 points per game. Lessears is tied for eighth with teammate senior Le'on Hill in rebounding in the MEAC. 
Lessears also ranks sixth in the conference in shooting at 49.4 percent, while Winters ranks 10th (44.7). 

The Florida A&M Rattlers: Florida A&M lost the MEAC opener with a 66-57 loss at N.C. Central on Saturday. FAMU has lost their last six games and have yet to defeat a Division I opponent as the two wins were Trinity Baptist and Johnson (Fla.). The Rattlers are led by Alaina Rice who is averaging 10.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. Jasmine Ballew is averaging 10.0 points and Shalaunda Burney-Robinson is averaging 9.2 points and 7.3 rebounds. 

Robinson Wins 150: Head coach Tarrell Robinson recorded his 150th win after the Aggies defeated VCU 69-58 last Monday.  Robinson has a 51-25 record in the last three seasons including a 31-1 record in the MEAC over the same stretch.  Overall, the Aggies have won three MEAC regular season titles, including the last two, and two MEAC tournament titles under Robinson.

Rankings: The Aggies ranks second in the MEAC and 17th in the nation with 22.08 turnovers forced per game.

N.C. A&T also ranks second and 40th in the country with 59 blocked shots. They lead the conference in blocked shots per game (4.9). They are 29th in the country. 

Career Watch: Foy recorded 15 points at VCU to give her 950 career points to put her 50 points shy of 1,000 points for her career. 

Lessears has 757 career rebounds and needs 18 rebounds to move into fourth place held by Helena Creamer (1987-91).  

Lessears recorded four blocks against Morehead State to become the fifth plyer to record 100-plus blocks in her career. Lessears has 105 blocks and needs 11 blocks to move into fourth place held by Lamona Smalley (2006-10). 

Hill has 88 career blocks, which ranks ninth place in school history and needs four blocks to move into eighth place held by Nikia Gorham (2009-13).
