Biography

Brings a positive and upbeat attitude to North Carolina A&T’s program…DeBlanc had a productive first season and made starts in crucial games for the Aggies…Showed a multitude of post moves…She also has the ability to hit 10-15 footers, and she showed she can shoot a high percentage from the floor…The only downside to her season was not being able to play in the Aggies MEAC Championship game because of a concussion.

2008-2009: Played in 28 games with 15 starts...Missed four games with a hamstring injury and one game because of a concussion...Averaged 4.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game in 418 minutes of action...In 15 starts, DeBlanc averaged 5.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and shot .514 from the floor ...Scored her first career point on Nov. 15 against Ole Miss when she hit a free throw with 6:40 remaining in the game...Her first career field goal came on Nov. 16 when she hit a layup with 11:41 remaining in the first half against Winthrop...Scored in double figures for the first time in her career on March 5 when she scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a 97-65 win at Norfolk State...Followed that performance with 10 points on 4-for-5 shooting in an MEAC Tournament win over Howard on March 11...Played just 11 minutes, but still scored nine points on 4-for-4 shooting in a 90-68 win over Bethune-Cookman on February 9...Went 4-for-6 from the floor and scored eight points in an 85-76 win over Buffalo on November 28

Woodland Hills: Played four varsity seasons under Karie Morton-Rozier...She had a stellar career at Woodland Hills where she scored more than 1,000 points, 600 rebounds and 150 blocks...She was a two-time All-District performer and closed out with 11 double doubles as a senior...She was named WTAE Athlete of the Week as well as the Post-Gazette Player of the Week...She was a member of the national honor society and student council…She was also elected as class president...DeBlanc also participated in track and field
