Experienced free safety who returns for his senior season … Became a starter at the position in 2019 and helped the Aggies win the MEAC conference, the Celebration Bowl and the HBCU national championship … A speedy defensive back who once doubled as a track and field standout at N.C. A&T … Has tremendous speed by running a 4.25 in the 40-yard dash … His long strides should help him get to the ball carrier easily … Had an outstanding outdoor track and field season for the Aggies in 2017 as he qualified for NCAA Division I Championships in the 4x400 meter relay … Also helped his teammates win the 4x4 MEAC outdoor title in 2017 as the men’s track and field team claimed the 2017 outdoor conference championship team title as well … He then helped the Aggies win the 2017 MEAC football title the following fall along with the Celebration Bowl and HBCU national championship … All together as a student-athlete at N.C. A&T, he has won four MEAC championships, three Celebration Bowls and three HBCU national titles.
2019 Season: Played in and started all 12 games … Made 38 tackles (27 unassisted) with one interception and five pass deflections … Broke up three passes in the Celebration Bowl to go along with three tackles as the Aggies defeated Alcorn State 64-44 at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Dec. 21 … Had six solo tackles in the Aggies 47-17 win over Bethune-Cookman on Nov. 16 at Truist Stadium … Had five solo tackles in the Aggies key 22-20 win at S.C. State on Nov. 2.
2018 Season: Played in eight games without a start … Made eight tackles (seven unassisted) and broke up one pass … Made three unassisted tackles in the Aggies 45-6 win over Gardner-Webb on Sept. 8.
2017 Season: Played in 10 games with one start … Made 18 tackles (nine unassisted) on the season … Got the start and made eight tackles (four unassisted) in the Aggies 31-20 win at Florida A&M on Oct. 14 … Made five tackles (three unassisted) in the Aggies 44-3 win over Delaware State on Oct. 7.
2016 Season: Took a redshirt season.
High School: Attended and played high school football at Hillside … Helped Hillside make a deep run in the playoffs as a senior … Also competed in high school track and field where he finished third in the state of North Carolina Class 4A in the 400m (48.85) … As a senior, won the N.C. 4A Midwest Regional in the 400m with a time of 49.52 … Was a conference champion in the 200 and 400m.
