Outstanding addition to A&T’s offensive line … Will come in and be coached by one of the best offensive line coaches in Division I-FCS in Ron Mattes … Transferred to A&T out of Division II Virginia State … Helped the Virginia State Trojans reach the 2024 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) championship game with a 7-4 overall record and a 6-1 mark in the CIAA … Looks to be important part of the Aggies pass protection in 2025 … Still has three years of eligibility remaining.

2024 Season (Virginia State): Played in 10 games for the Trojans … The Trojans had one of the best offenses in the CIAA, ranking second in total offense and scoring offense … Also had the third-best rushing offense … VSU averaged 225.8 yards passing per game.

High School: Played three years of varsity football at Princess Anne High School under head coach Jessie Litton … Earned first-team All-District as an offensive lineman and defensive lineman.

Personal: Full name is Gabrel Navarro … He is the son of Al Navarro and Stacey Salley and was born on Jan. 6, 2005 … He is a kinesiology major and plans to coach after his playing days are over.
