Entered North Carolina A&T’s fall August camp as a cornerback … He is an imposing figure at cornerback standing at 6-foot 2 … Has the tools to help the Aggies defensively … He is also an excellent student in the classroom … He’s not afraid to tackle and has an impeccable work ethic … Also considered attending Wingate … Chose A&T partly because the university had the information technology and civil engineering majors … Says A&T would have been choice even if he didn’t play football.

High School: Played three varsity seasons at West Rowan High School under head coach Lou Kraft … He made 70 tackles and intercepted one pass as a senior … Earned all-county and all-conference honors.  

Personal: Full name is Israel Ford … He also goes by the nickname Izzy … He is the son of Shelia and Donald Ford and was born on Sept. 16, 2006 … He is deciding between civil engineering and information technology as his major …  Enjoys sleeping, praying, and his most prized possession is God.
