Godette joins A&T after competing for Lenoir Community College…He looks to add to the team’s depth on the pitching staff.

2013 Season: Appeared in 13 games and made six starts in his first season at A&T…Recorded an 0-5 record and an 11.84 ERA…Allowed 32 earned runs on 41 hits with 35 walks and nine strikeouts in 24.1 innings…Tossed a season-high 4.2 innings against Marshall on Feb. 24…Struck out a season-high three batters in 3.1 innings on March 3 at N.C. Central…Did not allow a hit or a run on April 16 at Duke nor on April 30 at UNC Greensboro.

2012 Season (Lenoir CC): Pitched in 15 games, posting a 6-4 record and a 1.74 ERA for Lenoir Community College…Allowed 16 earned runs on 67 hits in 82.2 innings…Walked 24 and fanned 75 batters.

2011 Season (Lenoir CC): Made 12 appearances, and posted a 4-3 record and 2.81 ERA (18 ER/57.2 IP) as a freshman…Walked 14 and struck out 30 batters, while allowing 44 hits.

High School: Was a two-time all-conference selection at Havelock High School…Was named the Sun Journal Player of the Year. 

Personal: Full name is Justin Godette…He is the son of Johnny and Denise Godette…Has one sibling, Johnny Jr…. He was born on Nov. 16, 1991…His major is pre-law…His other interests include math…Says the best thing about A&T is that the teachers are understanding.
