 Born in Jamaica, he came to United States at 16 years old to compete as prep athlete in Florida … Adds another excellent sprinter to the Aggies great collection … Added depth for the Aggies in his first season in Aggieland after transferring in from Western Texas College … Attended South Plains Junior College as a freshman. 

2020 Outdoor Season: Season was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. 
2019-20 Indoor Season: Competed in four meets in his first season in Aggieland … Made his Aggies debut on Jan. 24 at Virginia Tech’s Hokie Invitational where he finished seventh in the 300m (35.17) and eighth in the 60m (6.96) … Competed at the MEAC Indoor Track and Field Championships where he ran a 6.94 in the 60m prelim. 

2019 Outdoor Season (Western Texas College): Competed in four meets for the Westerners … Ran a personal-best 10.33 in the 100m to finish second at the West Texas A&M Invitational on April 20 … Qualified for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Outdoor Track and Field Championships, May 16-18 … Placed sixth nationally with his 4x100 relay teammates by finishing in 40.06. 

2018-19 Indoor Season (Western Texas College): Competed in four meets during the season for the Westerners … Placed first in the 60m at the Texas Tech Open by finishing in 6.68 on Feb. 1 … Placed second in the 60 at the 4^thAnnual Indoor Gorilla Classic by finishing the race in 6.69 …  Placed second in the 4x400 and the 60m at the Texas Tech Matdor Qualifier by finishing the 4x4 in 3:20.24 and the 60 in 6.73 … Qualified for the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, March 1-2, in the 60m … Finished seventh nationally in the 60m in 6.84.

2018 Outdoor Season (South Plains): Competed in six meets during the outdoor season … Earned his first junior college win on April 8 when helped his 4x100 team win at the Angelo State David Noble Relays in 40.21 … Had the fastest 100m qualifying time at the same meet with a time of 10.26 before finishing second in the final at 10.13 … He and his 4x1 teammates also won at the NMJC Ross Black Open on April 14 with a time of 40.69 … They earned their third victory of the season at the West Texas A&M Invitational in 40.30 … Edwards finished second at the same meet in the 100m in 10.46 … Qualified for the NJCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships as he and his 4x1 teammates finished fourth nationally in 39.98.

2017-18 Indoor Season (South Plains): Competed in five meets during his freshman season … Made his junior college debut on Jan. 26 at the Texas Tech Red and Black Open where he finished fourth in the 200m (22.15) and sixth in the 60m (6.94) … Qualified for the NJCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 60m where he ran a 6.80 in the prelim.
