Another outstanding recruit from Scotland County High School … N.C. A&T has had great success with Scotland County players and Williams appears to be no different … Graduated Scotland County with a 4.6-grade point average … Came out of the 2019 spring practice session prepared to compete at the weakside linebacker position.

2018 Season: Did not play a game during the season … Took a redshirt season as a true freshman.
 
High School: Played varsity football at Scotland High … Led the Scots to a 12-2 record overall and a 7-0 mark in the Sandhills Athletic Conference … The Scots played in the 4-A state championship game where they lost to Harding … Was named 4-A Sandhills Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year. A multiple all-conference standout, Williams made 109 tackles (107 unassisted) and 12 tackles for loss as a senior … As a junior made 77 tackles (72 unassisted) with nine tackles for loss.
