A&T running back Tarik Cohen and Marquell Cartwright … This season he will move to wide receiver … Entered the 2018 season as the No. 2 Y receiver on the depth chart …Moved from cornerback to running during the 2015 spring practice … During the Blue & Gold Spring Game of that year, he caught five passes for 52 yards and rushed for a touchdown … Played quarterback in high school … Has a tremendous amount of athleticism … Used that athleticism to return kickoffs for the Aggies in 2016 and 2017 … Runs the 40-yard dash 4.3 seconds, has a 10-foot 6 ½-inch broad jump and has a 505-pound squat max … Has played in 32 games with three starts … In his career, has rushed for 351 yards and a touchdown on 94 carries.
2017 Season: Played in 11 games without a start … Rushed for 18 yards on four carries … Also made three special teams tackles during the season … Had carries in games against Mars Hill (Sept. 9), at S.C. State (Sept. 30) and at Norfolk State (Nov. 4).
2016 Season: Played in 11 games with one start … Rushed for 251 yards on 55 carries to become the Aggies third-leading rusher during the season …Also made seven catches for 12 yards … Returned 10 kickoffs for 165 yards … Rushed for 46 yards on 10 carries in the Aggies blowout win over St. Augustine’s on Sept. 3 … Carried the ball a career-high 17 times on Sept. 17 at Tulsa … Had 72 yards on nine carries in the Aggies win at Howard on Oct. 22 … He followed that performance by rushing for 58 yards on six carries in the Aggies 42-17 Homecoming win over Florida A&M on Oct. 29.
2015 Season: Played in 10 games with two starts … Rushed for 35 yards for 112 yards (3.2 yards per carry) and a touchdown … Had his best game of the season on Oct. 24 against Howard when he rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries, which included a 33-yard run.
2014 Season: He took a redshirt.
High School: Played four varsity football under head coach Jimmy Raye at Walton… As a quarterback threw for 1,200 yards and rushed for 800…Was honorable mention all-state in Florida and honorable mention All-Panhandle.
