A talented and versatile player who can play a dual role for the Aggies … Played quarterback for the Aggies in 2017 … Will play wide receiver for the Aggies in 2018 in the slot … Played both wide receiver and quarterback for N.C. A&T in 2016, a year where the Aggies had multiple injuries at quarterback … Was one of four different quarterbacks to throw a touchdown pass for the Aggies in 2016 … Contributed to the Aggies offense and special teams as a freshman … Possesses tremendous athletic ability with a 4.56 time in the 40-yard dash and a 10-foot, 5-inch broad jump …  Has played in 14 games in his career and has thrown two touchdown passes and rushed for 79 yards on 19 carries.

2017 Season: Played in three games at quarterback … Threw for 26 yards on 2-for-4 passing … Also rushed for 39 yards on eight carries … Rushed for 29 yards on five carries in the Aggies blowout win over Mars Hill on Sept. 9 … Completed a 20-yard pass to Jaquil Capel on Sept. 2 at Gardner-Webb.

2016 Season: Played in six games without a start … Mostly played the quarterback position because of injuries … Completed three passes on six attempts for 156 yards and two touchdowns … Rushed for 40 yards on 11 carries … Threw his first career touchdown pass on Sept. 17 when he connected with Malik Wilson in a loss at Tulsa … Threw another TD pass at N.C. Central, a 15-yarder to Denzel Keyes on Nov. 19.

2015 Season:  Played in five games without a start … He was not targeted for a pass on the season … Contributed on special teams.

High School: Played varsity football at Sun Valley High School … Also participated in track and field at Sun Valley …  As a senior playing quarterback, Hicklin threw for 601 yards and five touchdowns on 49-for-97 passing … Ran the 100, 200 and 400 meters in high school.
