ELON, NC – The North Carolina A&T men's indoor track and field team successfully defended its Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) championship title in February.
The outdoor version of the men's team will try to do the same over Friday and Saturday at the 2026 CAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, May 15-16 at Elon University's Jerry and Jeanne Robertson Track and Field Complex.
Meanwhile, the A&T women's outdoor track and field team will try to derail Elon's repeat efforts by winning their first conference championship since 2021. On the track, there will be preliminary events where the Aggies will have a strong chance to qualify multiple athletes for the finals on Saturday, starting at 3:45 p.m. with the women's 100-meter hurdles. Other qualifying events where the Aggies are expected to do well include the men's 110H, women's and men's 400 meters, women's and men's 100m, men's 800m, women's and men's 400H, and women's and men's 200m.
