GREENSBORO – North Carolina A&T men's track and field added to its collection of Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) weekly honors on Tuesday.

The CAA named junior Isaiah Taylor men's track athlete of the week after making a presence in three different events over the weekend at the prestigious Florida Relays hosted by the University of Florida. Ty'Heak Buie collected CAA Men's Field Athlete of the week after a superior performance in the triple jump. In winning his second outdoor career weekly, Taylor moved into the top five in three different events in the CAA, highlighted by his ranking in the 110-meter hurdles.
Taylor ran a 13.77 in the preliminary round to place third at UF on Saturday and matched that time in the final to finish fourth. That performance moved him into first place in the conference, 23rd nationally, and 13th in the NCAA Division I East Region. He then joined his twin brother Xzaviah Taylor, sophomore Elijah Thomas, and junior Dyimond Walker on the Aggies 4x400-meter relay team, finishing second with a time of 3:03.47.

The same foursome ran a 3:03.10 to win the 4x400 at Florida Relays last season. This season's results have moved them into the No. 1 spot in the CAA, No. 6 nationally, and No. 4 in the East Region. On Friday, he competed in the 400H, clocking a 52.49 to finish 22nd. Taylor ranks fourth in the CAA in the event and 50th in the East Region. In addition, he ranks seventh in the CAA in the men's 200m after running a 21.30 at N.C. State's Raleigh Relays.

Buie excelled in field events, highlighted by a CAA-best triple jump of 50 feet, 10 ¼ inches at the Raleigh Relays. This mark placed him ahead of teammate Xavier Partee, who jumped 50 feet, 1 ¼ inches. Buie ranks 23rd nationally and fifth in the East.

The Aggies look ahead to April 9-11, when they will travel to Duke to compete in the Duke Invitational at Morris Williams Track & Field Stadium.
