BRUNSWICK, Ga. – The North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University women's tennis team has wrapped up its first fall tournament, and it went well.
Coming off their best season ever, the Aggies looked poised for another historic season after senior
Tabeth Tadoum won the main draw at the College of Coastal Georgia fall tournament at the Marta B. Torrey Tennis Complex during the final week of September. Tadoum returned from injury last season and posted a 5-8 record, helping the Aggies secure their first-ever winning season at 10-5.
Tadoum opened the 2026 fall campaign on Friday, Sept. 25, with a straight win over Ana Josic of Reinhardt University, 6-4, 6-1. The win advanced Tadoum to the quarterfinals against Eve Costantini. Tadoum won 6-1, 6-0 to move to the semifinals against sophomore teammate
Valeriia Fomenko.
Even against a fellow Aggie, Tadoum kept her momentum going by defeating Fomenko 6-1, 6-1 to move to the main draw final. Tadoum carried her strong play into the final, defeating Addie Grek of the Episcopal School of Jacksonville, 6-0, 6-0. Tadoum also teamed with freshman Seromy Sicha Ticona to defeat College of Coastal Georgia's Lyla Johnson and Chiho Takada 6-2.
Sicha Ticona played in the back draw after losing in the Round of 16. She defeated College of Coastal Georgia's Tabea-Sophie Saubert 6-3, 6-1. Before losing to Tadoum, Fomenko defeated Felicia Elixmann of College of Coastal Georgia, 6-4, 4-6, and 1-0-5 in the tiebreaker. The Aggies will continue their fall season Oct. 8-12 when they compete at the Carolina Regionals in Columbia, SC.
