EAST GREENSBORO – North Carolina A&T men's basketball guard Kameron Langley (Gr., 6-foot-2, High Point, N.C.) earned a spot on the Big South All-Academic Team, the conference announced.
"It's an honor," said Langley. "I'm more proud of that than anything. It just shows my hard work on and off the court. Being a student-athlete means staying on top of your academics because, ultimately, that permits you to play the game that you love and work so hard to be good at all the time. Time management is how I fulfill both ends. Prioritize what's important."
Langley completed his undergraduate work with a 3.58 GPA and a bachelor's degree in Management. He has a cumulative 3.4 GPA in his graduate work and is working toward a degree in Information Systems Technology.
He excels just as much on the court. He will go down as one of the greatest players in program history. To date, Langley holds for career school records in minutes played (4,350), assists (896), steals (272) and assists per game (6.1). His 896 career dimes are 15th all-time in NCAA history.
Langley is the only player in program history with 1,000-plus career points, 750-plus career assists, and 500-plus career rebounds.
"It's a great accomplishment for Kam," said coach Will Jones. "He is the blueprint for what a student-athlete should be. He gives it his all on the court and in the classroom. Kam will impact A&T for years to come."
