Biography

One of the best players in A&T men’s basketball program history… Holds the school’s all-time career assists record (prev. Thomas Griffis, 622) … Entering the 2021-22 season, Langley has dished out 757 assists in his career … He is one of only 52 players in NCAA history to eclipse 750-career assists … Is currently tied for the school’s all-time career steals record (Phillip Allen, 225)… Has compiled 979 career points and 482 rebounds… He is the MEAC’s and N.C. A&T’s all-time leader in assists … He broke N.C. A&T’s single-season assists record in 2019-20 with 247.

2020-21 Season: Played in and started all 19 games … Was the MEAC Preseason Player of the Year and preseason first-team All-MEAC … Ranked eighth nationally and led the MEAC in assists per game (6.7)… Was tied for 28th nationally with 128 total assists… Averaged a career-high 10.6 points per game and a career-high 5.0 rebounds per game … Recorded three double-doubles, including a near triple-double of 20 points, a career-high 16 assists and nine rebounds against Western Carolina on Dec. 12… Scored in double-figures 13 times with his season-high 20 also against the Catamounts… Dished out double-figure assists four times… Earned second-team All-MEAC honors after the season.

2019-20 Season: Played in 31 games with 31 starts… Averaged a career-high 9.4 points, 8.0 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game… Ranked first nationally in total assists and assists per game… Broke the Aggies’ single-season assist record as well as the school’s all-time assist record… Broke the MEAC’s all-time assist record… Led the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio for the third-straight year… Was second in the MEAC in steals per game… Led the nation in triple-doubles with two… Recorded eight double-doubles… Scored in double-figures 13 times including a career-high 22 points on Jan. 20 against Morgan State… Dished out double-figure assists 12 times including a career-high 15 on March 11 against Howard… Recorded his first triple-double with 15 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds on Jan. 27 against Delaware State.
 
2018-19 Season: Played in 32 games with 29 starts … Averaged 7.1 points, 6.5 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game … Nationally, ranked 13th in assists per game, 21st in assists-to-turnover ratio (2.77) and 20thin total assists (208) … Led the MEAC in assists per game, assists-to-turnover ratio and total assists … Broke the Aggies single-season assists record during the season … Helped the Aggies finish second in the MEAC with a 13-3 mark … Led the Aggies in assists 29 times and had five or more assists 21 times … Had double-figure assists in five games … Had three double-doubles during the season including 10 points and 12 assists in a MEAC quarterfinals win over Coppin State on March 13 … Also had a double-double in the Aggies MEAC semifinals loss to NCCU with 14 points and 10 assists on March 15 … Posted a season-high 17 points on 6-for-11 shooting in the Aggies win over archrival NCCU on March 7.  

2017-18 Season: Played in 35 games with 32 starts as a freshman … Averaged 7.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.7 steals per game … Nationally, ranked 50th in total assists (177) … Ranked fourth in assists per game, fourth in total assists, first in assists-to-turnover ratio (2.3) and second in steals per game … Helped the Aggies finish with an impressive 11-5 MEAC record … Helped the Aggies reach postseason play for the first time in five years by earning a bid to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament (CIT) where they played Liberty … Led the Aggies in assists 23 times and had five or more assists 18 times … Had double-figure assists in three games … Had his first career double-double with 11 points and 10 assists against Howard on Feb. 17 … Helped the Aggies win their first tournament game in five seasons with 16 points and eight assists in a MEAC quarterfinal win over Norfolk State on March 8. 
 
High School: Played high school basketball at Southwest Guilford High School … Earned a spot on the MEAC All-Rookie team … Was a two-time player of the year in the All-Piedmont Triad Conference … Was a first-team HSXtra All-Area selection for public school players as a junior after averaging 15.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 3.2 steals per game … Helped Southwest to a 27-3 record, the regular-season conference title and the fourth round of the NCHSAA Class 4-A playoffs … As a senior, led the Cowboys to the 4A championship and was named the title game's most valuable player … Participated in the East-West All-Star Game. 
 
Personal: Full name is Kameron Langley … He is the son of Keyford and Toni Langley … Majors in business management … Has three brothers who play or have played college basketball … Older brother KJ played at Greensboro College and twin brothers Keyshaun and Kobe play at UNC Greensboro … Enjoys cooking and watching superhero movies … Chose A&T because of its rich tradition and huge fan base … Also wanted to go somewhere he could have an immediate impact on the program.
