NORTH CAROLINA A&T AGGIES (8-10, 5-3 Big South): Chanin Scott scored the final four points in the waning seconds on Saturday night to lift the Aggies to a 90-88 win at Gardner-Webb. Â
Jazmin Harris recorded her second double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Scott posted her fifth double-double this season with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Shareka McNeill added 18 points, and Sean Kelly Darks had 14.
Head coach Tarrell Robinson is in his 10th season. During his tenure in Aggieland, he is 183-103 (.640) and needs nine more wins to become the program's all-time leader. Against conference opponents in his career, he is 114-32 (.781), and at Corbett, he is 97-25 (.795). Over the last six seasons, A&T has won four regular-season Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championships and three MEAC tournament titles.Â
CAMPBELL FIGHTING CAMELS (14-4, 8-1 Big South):Â USC Upstate snapped Campbell's 11-game winning streak winning 81-62 in Spartanburg, S.C. It was the first Big South loss of the season for Campbell.
The Camels hold opponents to 37.4 percent from the field, tops in the Big South Conference. They also have the top scoring defense, and they are second in 3-point field goal percentage defense (.338). In addition, they are defeating opponents by an average of 15.3 points, also tops in the league. Faith Price leads Campbell with 12.7 points per game. Taya Bolder averages a double-double at 12.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game.Â
Ronnie Fisher is in his sixth season with Campbell and has posted a 110-56 at the university. He is 207-201 overall in 14 seasons as a head coach. Fisher leads all active coaches in the Big South in overall wins (207) and conference wins (129).Â
